Health- Care

America needs heath-care reform. We need to reduce cost, expand coverage, and preventive care are the key components of any real plan. Wall-mart should get involved at a comprehensive level. They understand cutting cost.

The idea of people getting rich off of the ill is a moral question. America needs to look carefully at the Canadian System to make true cost cutting and coverage. This could be a chance to improve business performance.

America needs to take a hard look at what can be done. Hillary Clinton was knocked down in her attempt to reform health-care. The future of our aging population is in the balance. The future is being driven by young people. They must pay for all the bills we are acquiring at present.

If we are able to rebuild our economy, roads, and now health-care will make America well positioned for the future. Education will be the next area of major concern. The new administration appears to be highly intelligent. We need people who think first, consult the stakeholders, and then take measured steps to whats' best at that time, and for the long-term.

Slow Motion

As the weather gets warmer it seems like everything is slowing down. The news appears boring. The GOP is so lost in old issues. They are playing the race card against Puerto Rici an woman. This group is so large and threatening that I am concerned.

We need to allow people to express their ideas with greater latitude. We need to talk about race and culture more to move forward ON THESE TYPE OF ISSUES.

a NEW America IS GROWING AND CHANGING. we ARE LEARNING WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO US. jobs, CREDIT AND HOUSING ARE NEAR AND DEAR TO US. health CAREIS THE HOT ISSUE. Some how I hit the caps key.
America needs to expand our vision to see and understand the next person. When this recession is over, we will be much stronger. The weak companies will no longer be around. New opportunities will start up. People will be smarter. Hopefully our leaders will pay more attention to the long-term and details. I hope we learn and do better.

Who Cares...

Last year I was SO MOVED BY THE ELECTION, AND NOW i REALLY WONDER WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD? people ARE LOSING THEIR JOBS AT RECORD NUMBERS.

I must have hit the caps lock and made a mistake as usual. But I am trying to keep it real although people are not doing that anymore.
We need jobs and American cars. I hope this recession comes to a pleasant end.

The future will be what we make it. The secret to life is positive thinking. The word yes must have real value. The GOP says no to everything. Is this a good thing when people need answers. Yet the real question is who really cares?

Torture is Torture.....

I have had an enough information about torture. The news is trying to learn who knew what and when. I really don't' care who knew what. The question is who gave the green light. Must we water-board some one until we get at the truth.
It is my understanding that torture can make anyone admit to anything i.e. eating a ham sandwich in the year 2020. What about jobs? Can we make some more jobs for Americans? Can we make banks that don't' slop over money and get a bonus?
I believe that the media is still trying to get people to pay attention. Who knows how to create jobs? Bill Clinton made millions of jobs. We need the media to go on a job creation mission. This recession has been torture for me. We need to find someone to blame and fast.

The Dress

The more pictures I see of Michelle Obama's red and back dress I am somewhat confused by this fashion statement. I realize the children had on black and the other red. She then coordinated with them. Perhaps the same color would be nice. What statement dose it make when one overstates the candidate?
May be I am too old or sexist to feel comfortable with this new fashion. Conservative dress generally depicts class and the lower classes show more flash. Could this be a new form of diversity?
I do not want the flash at all. I want class and substance. My children believe I am over doing it. It would be o-Kay if I saw it once. Yet , I must have seen this picture, of this dress, perhaps 100 times. Now, I must comment. My daughter said who cares? I care because pay taxes. Let us continue to hope for change.

A New Day!

Today is a new day for America and the World. We can begin to think about new ideas in new ways. Issues such as race and class has new meaning. The fall of the world economy is a sign that the systems we know is broken.
President Obama has a great opportunity to make real change. We need a new monetary system. The world needs to assure everyone a fair chance of life. People need good housing, education and a job to work. We also need a sound health care program as well.
Everyone needs to be involved at the grown level. For example, the Big Three need major reform. They have so many brands and car names I do not know what they offer. Notwithstanding that no one knows what the quality ratings are in any case. However, we need to save the workers and their jobs.
New ideas for new times, this is a great day when we bring in the changes to end poverty and ignorance. Let us all work together to our better nature to save a world in trouble.

The New America

The recent election may have changed the world. The idea that an African American could become president is and was the unthinkable. I wonder how this election will actually change anything.
Our society is always changing. Change can be both good and bad. What we need is real change. The Bush administration was not very good for America. People lost; money, jobs, homes and hope.
Obama could not do this bad with a GED education.
We need jobs. America should enact a full employment bill. Get America back to work!
Once this is in place, then fix the frameworks of the economy. Our banks and investments need to be clear. Our school system needs to be restructured in the urban areas. Health CARE MUST ALSO BE ADDRESSED. All people should receive free health care.
America needs a new era of enlightenment. We need more education regarding the economy and world issues. Our society can do without race problems. The New Deal is a mandate to positive intelligent change for everyone.
