Tiger, Dithering and Gate-Crashers

The news has been filed with calls of dithering, tiger and gate-crashers when none of it creates jobs. Do you ever wonder what is rally going on in the world, that reality may have left us about 20 years ago?

The term dither means to be weak and uncertain, to be confused. Dick Cheney (former Vice-President of The U.S.A.) has accused President Obama of dithering on the Afghan War. We just need to leave them alone. Let us dither on that. Stop War.

It is also in the news that Tiger Woods the great golfer was in a auto accident in the dead of night. There are reports from TMZ that he and his wife had a spat and the vehicle was hit or the windows were knocked out by his wife with a golf club to rescue him. There is suspicion that she actually knocked Tiger out.

There are also reports in the news when a reality t.v. star crashed the White House State Dinner and bragged about it. Now people will be fired and possible jail time.

Overall, we are living in a time when there are few things in life that makes sense when it comes to the media. We need not dither on anything. We need jobs. Tiger and his problems are his, not ours. The gate crashers need to crash into a federal prison if they broke the law and then do a t.v. program on people doing stupid stuff and paying for it. Let us not dither anymore, we need jobs now, we need peace, and we need all the people who want to be on t.v. to go to Afghanistan and seek peace with cameras. Please tell me what do you think?

Do We Really Need War?

Now that the holiday is over we must refocus our attention on pressing matters. The jobless rate is still alarming but what is the real issue? War is clearly a problem. A tremendous amount of money and human resources have been drain by war. Billions of dollars have been lost along with number of precious lives killed and injured.

Afghanistan is a serious problem. The military has requested 40,000 additional troops. This will take months to deploy this huge number of combatants. There is considerable cost involved in this venture.

The interesting point to ponder is Afghanistan is the 20Th poorest nation in the world. The number of terrorist is reported to be just over 100. Their government doesn't' have strong systems of control. Why are we there?

The answer to this question based on my assessment is Afghanistan is on the Pakistan border. This government is also in question. The problem is, Pakistan has nuclear weapons and a soft government in which terrorist may take over. It is our mission to stop them. However, the true concerned is can diplomatic talks work? Who do we negotiate with to seek peace? War is not the real solution. I have not heard the peace question raised.Do we really need war?

Peace is a Prize?

Now that President Obama has been awarded The Nobel Peace Prize, should we pull out of all wars? I wonder why we are there? The only thing there are mountains and opium.

War is so unnecessary. We are spending so much energy and resources there without anything in return. The world needs peace.

Why not bring all our soldiers but home and build new schools, computers and health centers? The world needs jobs. People are just sitting around waiting for something to happen. Out taxes are too high. If you do have a job, we only get about 68% of our pay.

In closing, there is too much money wasted on war. The world has a job to do. War is not the answer. Greed has played a role in this recession, the other factor is war. I hope we can expand world wide educational program tied to jobs. The full educational/employment act can make the world a better place. This is the real prize.

Is The Race Card getting Old?

President Jimmy Carter(former) suggested that race may be a factor in how President Obama is being threatened by some representatives and the public. This comment has alarmed the media to raise the world famous race card. People are getting just a little tried of it.

The real problem is money. People are really struggling today. Prices appear to rising and income is rather limited if you have a job. T%he battle over health care reform is so ill-timed. We need jobs and less taxes. We need to cut prices and have some fun. The question of race is ugly. There are too many problems that make even worst.

Racial history is so painful. Slavery, The Civil War and all war make this issue so sensitive we cannot discuss it in mixed company. At some point it must end. The question is when and how?

In closing, we need more ideas on the larger issues of jobs, taxes, war and the quality of life for people all over the world. Our educational systems must seek solutions. We need the people with money to invest in poverty. We need more jobs to help people live out their dreams. It appears that the race card has a way of stealing our dreams away and turns life into a nightmare. We need hope and skills to deal with the new world before us.

Why has Health Care become WAR?

The world is fighting to end an economic recession. Germany and France appears to have turned the corner on their economic problems. Jobs are still in question due to high levels of unemployment. Yet, in The United States, health care reform has been our front page issue.

Is it that we are sicker than our willingness to work? Nearly 10% of our work force has lost their jobs. Almost 46 million people do not have health care. The public has been rather hostile at congressional town hall meetings. There are a number of people wearing arms.

The public is fighting over the idea of the government offering a public option to insure people vs. a co-op partnership between the private sector and the government. The hope is to reduce cost and make the entire system more competitive.

In conclusion, The President has lost a great deal of momentum on this particular issue. The opposition believes if they can stop health care reform, they will in turn, stop the presidency. Why is it that our culture is so war oriented? We fight when it is time to compromise. We battle when it is time to think. Perhaps we need more time to mature as a nation? The issue is simple at best. Reduce cost, cut waste and preventive coverage are the key elements to a healthier nation. Please tell me what do you think?
